Accommodations are limited and a bit pricey but well worth their rates because of the charm of its periodic furnishings and, of course, the thrill of sleeping under the roof of what?s reputed to be a ghost-infested plantation. You can, however, also simply explore the vast and exquisite antebellum home in a day tour. Built in the mid 18th century, the Myrtles Plantation offers guests two choices to explore the rooms and grounds: a historic tour, which takes place from 9AM to 5PM, and the mystery tour, which takes place only in Friday and Saturday evenings and requires advance reservations.
