The Bible Point State Historic Site is a historic site and recreation area in Island Falls, Maine. It is located on the southern end of Mattawamkeag Lake.

The Bible Point State Historic Site is best noted for its connection with Theodore Roosevelt. The former US President visited the area in September 1878 and spent some days camping and hunting in the area. It got its name from this event, when, as according to the guide and local Bill Sewall, Roosevelt would daily come to a specific beautiful spot and read his Bible, making it known as ?Bible Point?.

The Bible Point State Historic Site was first recognized in 1921 when the Roosevelt Memorial Association placed a plaque at the site. In 1970, it was listed on the State Register of Historic Places.
