The Nott House was created in 1853 in the city of Kennenbunkport. It has unique items owned personally by the Nott and Perkins families who lived in the house way back between the late 1700s and 1900s. It now serves as a show place for the community and tourists to visit, be entertained and educated. It is also organized and managed by the Kennebunkport Historical Society.
The group started in 1952 and their mission is to preserve the history of the place of Kennenbunkport. There are guided tours held in the Nott House that would give you a very good look at the life of those that lived during the Victorian times. Hence, the entire home serves as some sort of a time capsule.
