Ironwood Theatre is a live theatre in Ironwood, Michigan, featuring live performances. Its programming range from musical plays to other live entertainment shows. It is owned by the City of Ironwood and is operated by the local community Ironwood Theatre, Inc. group.
The Iron Theatre building was constructed in 1928 as one of the three movie houses in the city around the time. It featured first run films and some vaudeville shows. It continued to be a movie house until it closed down in 1982 when it was donated to the city government.
The Ironwood Theatre is also home to the vintage Barton organ which is a 7-rank, 2-manual, 499-pipe organ. It was installed in 1928 and is still fully operational until today.
