The Palace of Auburn Hills is 22,000-seater arena that packs one of the biggest and most rabid sports fans in the league. It is the home of the original Bad Boys of NBA, the Detroit Pistons.
Also known as the Palace, this multi-purpose arena was built in August 13, 1988. It is the home of other teams such as Detroit Shock of the WNBA, Detroit Vipers and Detroit Fury. It is also one the biggest concert venues in Detroit. The very first concert held here was Sting, who performed on August 13, 1988. Other top performers who rocked the Palace were Pink Floyd, The Cure, Madonna, etc.
Notable for being one of the first modern stadiums, the Palace boasts several hi-tech facilities such as Jumbotron and Luxury Suites. The Palace also hosts other activities such as fairs, conventions, and sports events such as the professional wrestling and mixed martial arts.
