The Redding House is nestled within the historic district of Biloxi in Mississippi. It is one of the most significant and most visited houses in the area. It also holds a place on the top rank attractions in Mississippi and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1984.

Built in 1908 by Charles Redding, a well-known business man of that era, the house was designed by a local architect by the name of Mr. Harkness to be the primary indication of Mr. Redding?s social status and class in Biloxi. Charles Redding then chose the Colonial Revival style among other designs presented by Mr. Harkness. The house now stands to be the most spectacular model of this building style in the whole southern side of Mississippi. Inside, it boasts of custom made millwork, art murals, hardwood floors, and 10 hearths.
