This municipal park, located adjacent to the Missouri Botanical Garden, is composed of eleven pavilions, all of which boasting picturesque design. Majority of the 289-acre land area was from Henry Shaw?s donation in 1868 and is recognized as a Shaw legacy.
The Tower Grove Park is declared as a National Historic Landmark in 1989 and is a favorite venue for weddings, picnics, and other events all throughout the year. Festivals are also held on the site, as well as a farmers? market held from May to October yearly.
