The World Aquarium in downtown St. Louis lets visitors explore the water wonders as they expand their minds through the discovery of the magnificent features of the aquatic ecosystems from all over the world.
Visitors can explore the thousands of animals on the exhibit through the tours offered by the Museum. Among these are the Sand Castle Beach, the Stingray City, and the shark tank area.
The Museum also promoted the welfare of the animals and their habitat through conservation projects like animal rescues and the Conservation for the Oceans Foundation and the Sustainable Seafood Campaign. It aims to increase the people’s knowledge on aquatic life and environments in order to enable them to conserve the water world.
The Museum is open from Monday to Saturday on varied time schedules. Admission is 6$ per person as an addition to the basic City Museum, which costs $12 per person.
