The Amargosa Valley Library is most proud of their summer reading program that they hold regularly every year for the younger generations of today. They hold true to their goal of effectively serving the community when it comes to the various educational, recreational and cultural needs. They make their services easily accessed by everyone of all gender and ages, no matter which background they may be coming from. They are open Mondays to Fridays and closed every weekends and on very special occasions like holidays.

Their board of trustees hold meetings on a monthly basis to discuss various agendas all for the benefit of the community and the constant expansion of the entire library. They are even keeping up with the modern times since they hold their own blog which everyone can access and get to read. It is written straight from the director?s desk. They offer not just books and audio materials but also a lot of DVD movies. Hence, they are always packed with a lot of people from all over the community.
