Las Vegas Natural History Museum is a private and non-profit institution that is dedicated to the education of the public when it comes to the natural sciences pertaining to the past and the present. The Museum features interactive exhibits as well as educational programs to instill an understanding and appreciation of the world wildlife and ecosystems among its visitors.

The Museum first opened to the public in July 1991. It exhibited a dynamic collection of wildlife and prehistoric exhibits on loan. From that time on, the Museum has acquired its own multi-million dollar, world-class collection. The collection covers a wide scope of areas and topics including Africa, deserts, oceans, the prehistoric times and many more. It has also created an exciting and interactive learning experience for its visitors.
