The history of the family-owned Lattin Farms can be traced all the way back to the 1860?s and spanning several generations. In 1977, the farm was the first to produce red raspberries in the state, which had once been considered unlikely due to Nevada?s weather. The farm is also considered one of the reasons why the city of Fallon is nowadays knwon for the Hearts of Gold Cantaloupe.
Since the 1960?s, the farm had been successfully selling produce and in 1989 opened their Old-Fashioned Roadside Produce Stand, which continues to operate today. Besides shopping for the freshest and best-tasting produce, visitors may also have fun exploring the farm?s famous Nevada Corn Maze, smell the blooms in Anne?s Flower and Herb Garden, and take their children to hayrides, Critterville, the Scarecrow Factory, and the Cow Train.
