The Cardigan State Park is a huge state park in Orange, New Hampshire. It is named after the stunning Mount Cardigan where it is located nearby.

Cardigan State Park is famous among hikers and mountain climbing enthusiasts. It provides a casual hike, with a mountain road that leads to trails up the summit. At the peak, climbers can find a 3121-foot treeless granite area with magnificent views of the west central region of the state, as well as a glimpse of the White Mountains, Mt. Monadnock, Pleasant Mountain of Maine, and Camel?s Hump in Vermont.

Covering a total of 5655 acres, the Cardigan State Park is open year round, albeit unstaffed. Visitors are advised to call 911 in case of emergency instead.
