The Blackwater Draw Museum and Archaeological Site is a museum and archaeological site in Portales, New Mexico. It features the story of the historic Blackwater Draw, a dry stream channel that is designated as a National Historic Landmark District and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is a significant site and is a focal point for several academic institutions? research including the National Geographic Society, Smithsonian Institution, National Science Foundation, Carnegie Institute, US National Museum, and the Academy of Natural Sciences just to name a few.

The Blackwater Draw Museum & Archaeological Site opened in 1969 and was recently declared as a National Historic Landmark. It displays artifacts that are recovered from the surrounding archaeological sites.
