The Albright-Knox Art Gallery can be found inside a building that is of the Greek revival design. It is filled with art forms that boast of what is contemporary and modern all at the same time. It also has post war art items from the American and European styles with well noted works of Warhol, Johns, Pollock and Gorky included.
The art gallery carries out a mission to help enhance the appreciation of everyone especially the youth about the various forms of art from various periods of time. It was started way back in December of 1862 and it is handled by the Buffalo Fine Arts Academy. It is also known as one of the oldest public arts body in the entire country.
