Located in West Babylon, New York, the Belmont Lake State Park is a full service park containing Belmont Lake, a popular boating location in the area.

Known as one of the nearest and most convenient parks in the locality, the Belmont Lake State Park contains facilities that are targeted at families and park visitors that cannot travel long distances for outdoor activities. It is conveniently located near the Southern State Parkway at Exits 38 and 37N.

The park served as headquarters for the now disbanded Long Island State Parkway Police and currently serves as the headquarters of the New York State Park Police and the Long Island State Park Region.
