Chenago Valley State Park is a state park and geographical preserve located in Chenago Forks, New York.
Locate adjacent to the Chenago River in Broome County, the Chenago Valley State Park features a multitude of different habitats including forests and wetlands which are home to a rich diversity of animal species and native vegetation. Animals that can be seen in the park include woodpeckers, nuthatches, warblers, thrushes, herons, kingfishers, and ducks. There is also a significant opulation of Pileated Woodpeckers that are unique to the area. Anglers in the will find that the park hosts a healthy population of trout, bass, perch, and bullhead in the fishing areas around Chenango Lake.
