Featuring a glacially sculpted 167 foot waterfall, the Chittenango Falls State Park is state nature preserve and recreational area in Cazenovia, New York.

According to geologists, Chttenango Falls was created by glacial action on the current location of the Chitenango Creek. The massive amount of force carried by the glaciers essentially cut into the earth and revealed the now observable 400 million year old bedrock. This natural development of the geology in the area is the centerpoint of the Chittenango Falls State Park.

Several trails around the falls are available for those who wish to see the multiple angles of the falls, a park visitor may view the falls from the top, walk a short trail toward a footbridge near the base of the falls and walk up the other bank on the opposite side of the gorge.
