Located in the town of Colton, New York, the Higley Flow State Park is a beach and recreational facility in the New York State Parks system.
The Higley Flow State Parks central attraction is the Higley Flow, an impoundment on the Raquette River on the Adirondack foothills. Its campsites are popularly known as very private spaces because of the unique way pine trees are placed in between different plots.
The terrain in the area varies from beachfront, to gentle hills, and on to a heavily wooded area. The river is a popular canoe, kayak, and fishing destination and receives a fair number of visitors every year. Higley Flow State Park is also the location of the Beaver Pond Nature Trail which travels through six different habitats and ecological zones for wildlife watching and nature walks.
