The Prospect Park Zoo, which is managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society, currently serves as home to almost four hundred animals belonging to over 93 species. The kid-sized zoo can be divided in three primary exhibit areas. In the Animals in Our Lives exhibit area, visitors may not only enjoy feeding some of the zoo?s friendly animals as well as try drawing wildlife. In the Animal Lifestyles exhibit, visitors are educated about the unique and interesting facets of animal lifestyles such as those of Hamadryas baboons. And in the World of Animals exhibit, visitors may step into a natural wildlife setting and experience how it is to live directly among animals.

In the Prospect Park Zoo, visitors could also crawl into a prairie dog town, learn more about different animal habitats in the Discovery Trail, explore a garden with bridges and waterfalls in the Barn & Garden, and get friendly with sea lions in the Sea Lion Court.
