The Arts of the Albermarle is an arts showplace in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. It features local NC artists and craft persons through its exhibits and displays.

Managed by the Arts Council, the Arts of the Abemarle is housed in the renovated historic Lowry-Chesson building. It features a wide array of works of arts and crafts made in various forms and using different kinds of materials. The displays are also juried by peers, so you can always be sure that the exhibits are of high quality and taste.

Most of the items on display at the Arts of the Abemarle are also for sale. This is the site?s way of supporting local artists as well as its means to promote local arts and culture in the area.
