The Attmore Oliver House is a historic home and a museum in New Bern, North Carolina. It traces its roots back to 1790 when the house was built to serve as a residential building.
Today, the Attmore Oliver House serves as a museum. It features a wide array of historical objects that are related to the colorful past and development of the city of New Bern. There are also furniture pieces that goes back to the 18th and 19th centuries, the periods when the property was still used as a home, mostly owned by the former owners of the building, the Attmore and Oliver families. A doll collection and Civil War artifacts are also available on display.
The Attmore Oliver House Museum is also used by the New Bern Historical Society as a headquarters. They also offer facility rentals for events, such as meetings and other special occasions.
