The BB&T Ballpark is a ballpark that replaced the Ernie Shore Field in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is mostly known for being a baseball stadium and has always been the go-to place if someone?s looking for minor league baseball.
Originally built in 1968, the BB&T Ballpark is actually a massive stadium. It has a seating capacity of more than 31,500 if you add the seats behind the end zones. It was recently renovated in the recent years in hopes of providing the Demon Deacon football team of Wake Forest University of a top notch and beautiful playing field.
The BB&T Ballpark in Winston-Salem is the second field of the sort that is sponsored by the BB&T in the Carolina League.
