The Eno River State Park is a state park in Durham, North Carolina. It covers almost four thousand acres worth of land area and is adjoined with the West Point on the Eno city park.
The Eno River State Park was established in 1975 after a decade of efforts in preserving the Eno River Valley. In 1965, the city was thinking of building a reservoir in the area, so a group of concerned citizens took action and started a campaign to save it. By 1972, the idea of creating the site was approved by the state and so the state park was created.
There are several points of interest inside the Eno River State Park. This also gives way to the series of activities that can be enjoyed while at the site.
