The Gateway Gardens is a public garden in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is the latest project of the organization, Greensboro Beautiful, alongside the city?s Parks and Recreation department.
The Gateway Gardens may not be completely finished at this time, but its phase 1 is already open to the public. The site offers a series of themed gardens, designed to attract, entertain, and fascinate visitors. Most of the landscaping was done by the Cline Design Associates of Raleigh with the Seay Partners of Greensboro under the supervision of the city, the organization, and some community volunteers. Some areas in the site include a rose garden, special event garden, Greensboro Heritage Garden, rain garden, and a Japanese garden. They have also built a visitor center and some walking trails.
