The Haw River Historical Museum is a local history museum in Haw River, North Carolina. It is housed in the town?s old fire hall that is about 145 years old.
The Haw River Historical Museum chronicles the heritage and past of the town of Haw River. Being a 250 year old town, it is bound to have a great deal of important events that are worth preserving and looking back to. The museum presents and preserves these pieces of information so the younger generations can have a chance to learn about them.
On display at the Haw River Historical Museum are collections of photographs and artifacts. These mostly depict the everyday life in the area in schools, homes, churches, mills, railroads, and clubs just to name a few.
