The North Carolina Collection Gallery is a history museum located in the Louis Round Wilson Library in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is a great visual retelling of the four centuries of the colony and state of NC.

They also have on display are ship models and Napoleon?s death mask. Some exhibits are about Sir Walter Raleigh and the British?s voyage to the Roanoke Island. There are also some information on the North Carolina gold rush among many other key events.
Started in 1844 by former university president David L. Swain, the North Carolina Collection Gallery is a really great way of seeing an excellent chronicling of the area?s past and history.
