The Reynolda House Museum of American Art features collections of American art that are from the colonial era to the present. The site?s displays are deemed as a premier collection, and can?t be easily matched. It also features the historic Reynolds house, known as the Reynolda, built by Katharine Smith Reynolds and husband Richard Joshua Reynolds, founder of the RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. The structure was completed in 1917 and became the home of two generations of the Reynolds family.
