Opened in 2001, the Clackamette Skatepark is an Oregon City Parks and Recreation Department unit, designed for skateboarders. It was initially a project started by the Gladstone School District and the cities of Oregon City and Milwaukie.
After a series of fundraising and a passing of resolution allowing a skate park to be built, the Clackamette Skatepark was born. From its completion, it served as a regional skate park with a good number of regulations to ensure that everyone who uses the facility is safe.
A couple of regulations apply in Clackamette Skatepark, so users are advised to learn of them in advance. Also, there?s a schedule meant only for inexperienced skaters, which is during Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9-11 am.
