Built in 1932 by Doc Fourtner with the aid of his wife, Lydia, the Fourtner Covered Bridge is quite a notable structure mostly due to its location and construction process. Most of the work was done by the craftsman in Doc Fourtner. His wife helped him by handing him the tools needed in the process.
