The John Quincy Adams Young House is a historic building in the community of Cedar Mill near Portland, Oregon. It was constructed in 1869 by John Quincy Adams and Elizabeth Young as their residence. It became the Post Office when Young was appointed Postmaster in 1874.

Basically an American saltbox house, the John Quincy Adams Young House is a great example of the United States? mid to late 19th century architecture. The fact that Young also played a huge role in developing the community into what it is today is another great notable thing about the house. It also inspired unity in the community members when threats of moving it to a different location became apparent in the mid 1990s.

Today, the John Quincy Adams Young House is under the care of the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District. It was also listed on the Washington County Cultural Resource Inventory and the National Register of Historic Places.
