The Oregon Caves Chateau is an inn located in the Oregon Caves National Monument. It is a six story building under the care of the National Park Service. The site has been declared as a National Historic Landmark in 1987 due to its unique construction and design.
Being constructed in a steep ravine, the Oregon Caves Chateau might be quite a bit deceiving upon first glance. In the main entrance, people can only see three stories, as the lower three are below the main road. They have their own ground entrances, though, due to the terrain.
The Oregon Caves Chateau is still open to the public today, during the months of spring to fall. Available dates vary, though, so make sure to check with NPS first before planning a trip.
