Originally built as the Peck Mansion in 1905, the Belton Court has been passed to various owners and changed names several times. It has primarily served as a domestic building for the first years of its completion, and then served other functions later on.
The first time it was sold to someone else, it became a building for a Christian school, the Barrington College. It was known by the name Ferrin Hall when the institution merged with Gordon College, and was used as a dormitory. Soon enough, it was sold to the Zion Bible College. However, the bible school sold the property once again in 2008.
The Belton Court is now a private property. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
