The Audubon-Newhall Preserve is an inland park located in Hilton Head Island, in the beautiful state of South Carolina. It is a project intitiated by the South Carolina chapter of the National Audubon Society.

The primary aim of the Audubon-Newhall Preserve is to help conserve and promote the local flora and fauna. It covers 50 acres of pristine forest which is home to hundreds of native plant life that volunteers and experts tag and indentify. There?s also a scenic pond and wetland in the midst of the woods.

Being an excellent nature site, the Audubon-Newhall Preserve is open to the public. Folks can enjoy its 2 miles worth of easy trails while learning more about the local plants. Self-guided tours and seasonal walks are also commonly offered.
