Located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is the BB&T Coastal Field. Opened in 1999, this site is the home field of the minor league Myrtle Beach Pelicans, which is a baseball team that belongs to the Carolina League. The field holds up to more than six thousand people.

Home to the Coastal Carolina University annual event known as the ?Baseball at the Beach?, the BB&T Coastal Field sees a lot of action and use. It also serves as the finish point of the Bi-Lo Myrtle Beach Marathon, which is another annual athletics event commonly held every February.

BB&T Coastal Field also hosts regional events like various NCAA Tournaments like the one in 2007 and 2010 with CCU as the host school.
