The Beaufort Arsenal Museum is found in Beaufort where lots of relics of and other industry materials are used. It was once an arsenal in itself and was built by tabby and brick way back in 1798. Through time, the building deteriorated and it was rebuilt by the Volunteer Artillery Company. It has played a great role in numerous wars even the Revolutionary War.
It also served as home to the artillery of the Beaufort Volunteers whose information can be traced back to a company built earlier way back in 1776.
