Everyone who?s spending their summer in the beautiful and historic Beaufort, South Carolina may find it a great way to eat healthy and local. The Beaufort Farmers Market definitely helps people in doing so, as it is also an annual event, happening from May through October.
Originally, the Beaufort Farmers Market was held in the Pigeon Point neighborhood. However, recent developments allowed it to relocate somewhere that?s nearer to the downtown commercial district. Starting its 2010 season, the farmers market was already held in Bay Street, right across the Downtown Marina.
The Beaufort Farmers Market will be open every Wednesdays of May to October, except for the time when the Beaufort Water Festival takes place. It?ll offer fresh fruits, vegetables, and even shrimp.
