The Burroughs School is a historic school complex in the city of Conway, South Carolina. It was built in the early 1900s, from 1915 to 1923 in three phases, although some additions were also done from 1935 to the 1950s. It is said that it is historically significant because it stands as a representative of the history of education in the county of Horry, allowing it to stand as a landmark in the area today.
The Burroughs School is worked on by a couple of architects. Some of which include Henry Emil Bonitz and Charles Coker Wilson. It has various architectural styles, some of which in the Georgian revival, Neoclassical, and Colonial.
The Burroughs School was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
