The Compass Rose Park may be the smallest public park in Hilton Head Island, but it is actually worth visiting, especially if you are inclined into seeing all of the public areas in the places that you are visiting. The public park is really small; some even say that it is almost the same size of a suburban backyard. What makes it special, however, it is the newest park in the island.
Completed in 2008, the Compass Rose Park is located nearby the popular downtown areas, commonly passed by those who are travelling around by bike or foot. However, despite the location, it is actually out of the way and is quiet. It boasts of excellent landscaping and incorporates all the elements and local features that has made Hilton Head Island a popular destination.
