Also known as the First United Methodist Church, the Conway Methodist Church is a historic religious venue in the City of Conway, South Carolina. The National Register of Historic Places listing is composed of two major structures, the 1898 sanctuary, built in the said year, and the 1910 sanctuary, although there are actually four sanctuaries, although the 1961 structure was converted into a fellowship hall.
The 1898 sanctuary is a Gothic influenced building which is a single story, brick structure. It is located adjacent to the 1910 sanctuary, a Mission Revival structure designed by Joseph Leitner, a Wilmington, North Carolina native with the help of Henry P. Little, a local contractor and builder.
The Conway Methodist Church?s 1898 and 1910 sanctuaries were listed on the NHRP in 1986.
