The Conway Residential Historic District is a cluster of residential buildings in the city of Conway, South Carolina esteemed for their historic value. It is located in a residential zone around Main Street and is composed of a hundred and twenty five buildings and one contributing object.
What made the Conway Residential Historic District special is the fact that it is a collection of architecturally varied buildings from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The area shows the residential development of the city as they were constructed during the time when there was excellent growth and development in the city. It includes the oldest neighbourhood in the city, marked by ancient oak trees.
The Conway Residential Historic District was added on the National Register of Historic Places in April 2010.
