Cruise along the pristine waters. Fish and dive. Spot a deer. Or embrace the breathtaking natural beauty of South Carolina at the Devils Fork State Park.
Located a few miles off the quiet town of Salem in northwestern South Carolina, the Devils Fork State Park provides its visitors a myriad of outdoor activities, as well as unparalleled scenic vistas of the Lake Jocassee and the surrounding forests.
This 622-acre park was created in 1990. It is home to the Oconee Bell, a rare South and North Carolina-native wildflower. The park offers several recreational activities such as boating, kayaking, fishing, scuba dive, and water racing on the Lake Jocassee. On land, visitors can hike, explore, camp, set up picnics, and take photos of the tranquil lake and lush forests.
