The Galivants Ferry Historic District is a historic area in Horry County, South Carolina. It features the site of Galivants Ferry, a community that started off with numerous naval stores and agricultural industries.
In Galivants Ferry Historic District, folks can find 28 contributing buildings that represent the agricultural heritage of the area and of the Pee Dee region. Most buildings are related to farm work, like sheds and barns for storage, tobacco pack houses, and curing barns are a while the others served as farmer houses in the past. Most notable is the Holliday family House and the tobacco fields on Pee Dee Road.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, the Galivants Ferry Historic District is also a declared US Historic District.
