Located in the community of Bucksville in Horry County, South Carolina is the Hebron Church, also commonly known as the Hebron Methodist Church. It was built around the year 1855 by the local mill and ship building workers.
The Hebron Church is noted for being a clear proof of the Methodist tradition in the county of Horry that some people claim to date back to the eighteenth century. The building is designed in a meeting house form. Additional rooms were installed in the 1950s to provide more rooms for school. The Hebron Church still features the original pews from its initial construction, which were made from pine.
The Hebron Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 alongside with the two graveyards that is located on the backyard and across the road.
