Also known as the Sleepy Hallow Barn and the Stribling-Boone Barn, the JC Stribling barn is a historic brick barn located in Clemson, South Carolina. It was built in 1890 by the Striblings, a local farmer family.
The JC Stribling Barn is actually a replacement for the older structures that used to stand on the site. The original estate was named Sleepy Hollow, and its barn and other outbuildings were lost in a fire in 1890. It is most commonly known after the name of Jesse Cornelius Stribling, a former Confederate Army private who became a farmer after the Civil War.
The JC Stribling Barn is currently operated as a bed and breakfast while its grounds are usually used for weddings and other events. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
