The Myrtle Beach Bike Week is a long standing tradition in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was started in the 1940s, more than half a century ago, during the time when the coastal city was still starting to be known as an excellent vacation spot.
Touted as the largest motorcycle event in the Carolinas, the Myrtle Beach Bike Week attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors yearly. It is a well known celebration of motorcycle riders, enthusiasts, and lifestyle followers, making it such a great tourism event for the city.
Although, it did face tons of controversy in the past, the Myrtle Beach Bike Week continues to be a big tourism event in the area until today. It is commonly held during the month of May.
