The Myrtle Heights-Oak Park Historic District is a section in the resort city of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina that is deemed to be a historic area. It is significant for its role in the development of the residential areas of Myrtle Heights and Oak Park after the collapse of the Woodside Brothers, the developers of the Ocean Forest Hotel and Country Club which was established in the late 1920s.
The Myrtle Heights-Oak Park Historic District is mostly a residential area filled with summer homes. Myrtle House was opened in 1933 with the Myrtle Beach Farms being some of the first property owners in the area.
The Oak Park was opened in 1935, although, most early buildings were erected in the North Ocean Boulevard.
Composed of 89 contributing buildings, visitors of the Myrtle Heights-Oak Park Historic District can find a wide array of different architectural styles.
