Built in 1890s, the Price?s Mill is a historic area in the town of Parksville, South Carolina. It is an old water-powered gristmill that traces its history back to the mid 1700s when the land was acquired by David Calliham.
Although the current Price?s Mill was only constructed in the late 1800s, it is said that there has always been a gristmill in the area, along with a flour mill and a cotton gin. The site is also known in various names, like Park?s Mill, Calliham?s Mill, and Stone?s Mill.
RA Price only got the site in 1910. He operated it until his death in 1968 when it was passed to his son, John M. Price. The Price?s Mill no longer operates today, but it still stands in its original location, allowing it to snag a listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
