The Withers Building is a historic complex in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Built in 1891 with additional structures finished in the early 1900s, the site is also known as the Winthrop Training School or W.T.S.
The first building on the site was actually constructed to serve as a Presbyterian High School. It served as such from the time it was completed and until it was bought by the state in 1910. It was then used for the Winthrop College: The South Carolina College for Women, a teacher training school.
The Withers Building got its name from Sarah Withers, an alumna and former school principal. The site was then listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.
