The Bell Witch Cave is a cave that stands in the property that once has been owned by the Bell family. It got its name from the popular belief that the Bell Witch, or the poltergeist that has once haunted the Bell family in the early 1800s, took refuge in this karst, making it a haunted. Some even say that this very area could release the demon again given the right ritual and circumstances.
Aside from the demon who people believe is living there, the Bell Witch Cave is also a historic site by being a burial place for Native Americans. With this legend, others believe that another spirit guards the cave, so anyone who decides to take something from it would also get bad luck until they return the item quickly.
