The Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park is a state park and recreation area in Delano, Tennessee. It features the Ocoee River.
The Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park is best known for being the first ever State Scenic River. Its major attraction and portion is the 23 mile stretch of the partially developed river, running from the NC State line to the US 411 North of Benton. It allows visitors to enjoy fishing, canoeing, rafting, and boating. Aside from water related activities, visitors can also enjoy hiking, camping, and picnicking. Some portions of the John Muir trail are also included in the park.
The Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic River State Park is also located near several resorts and lodging, adding fun and adventure to the site.
